Now this was a lesson I had to learn the hard way, as we often think off the grid remoteness means the problems we had in modern urban society will not affect us. When it comes to our dwelling and personal property security, us off the grid folks often ignore, or greatly under estimate this important element.

Gary Collins: Hey, everyone. This is the last update of my Off the Grid project for 2015. I want to show you here, is the power shed. It looks a little different than the last time you saw it.
I have two of the panels up. Four more will be on the roof. Right now it’s just trickle charging the batteries, and we have the electrical wired inside.
Winter is here. It’s officially the start of my soup season. The best part about my Paleo soups is making them in the crock pot and having them for the next couple days. It makes life so much easier to cook one day and eat for 3! Here are some great Paleo recipes to try this winter! Also, don’t forget we cant eat perfectly balanced meals so it helps to substitute with our health packs.
Finding these delicious muffins on Pinterest was just a great way to treat yourself without having all the guilt. Paleo muffins have never turned out for me and usually I have to decline when offered. Theses Caramel Apple Muffins are just setting the standard for a delicious treat. Of course, They are not great for you but we cant be strict Paleo all the time and keeping that gluten out of your diet is still possible while enjoying your cheat treats. Also, don’t forget we cant eat perfectly balanced meals so it helps to substitute with our health packs.

Gary Collins: Hey everyone. This is Gary Collins, creator of the Primal Power Method. We’re here at my “Off The Grid Project.” I want to show you the building, and how the progress is going. This is the backside. I’m trying to show you guys everything, you can get a perspective of where we’re going. We’re up on getting the second floor done. The first floor is done.
We’ve tarred the bottom section because that is my crawl space. We’ve got drainage in. That’s the septic or is a sewer out. You can see we’ve got the drainage pipes on the sides. This is my southeast‑facing wall. You can see here, we’ve got a window. We got a slider and other windows. It’s all based on views. I want to show you guys everything, so you can understand where the heck we’re going from.
